Young Yours is a film adapted from the novel of Jiuyuexi, directed by Zeng Guoxiang, starring Zhou Dongyu and Yiyang Qianxi, and starring Yin Fang, Huang Jue, Wu Yue, Zhou Ye, Zhang Yao, Zhang Yifan and Zhao Runnan.
The film tells the story of how two teenagers, who were accidentally changed by a campus accident on the eve of the college entrance examination, protect each other and become adults they want to become. The film was released in mainland China on October 25, 2019, with a box office of 1.558 billion yuan in mainland China; It will be released in South Korea on July 9, 2020; It will be released in Japan on July 16, 2021.
This film was shortlisted for the new generation unit of the 69th Berlin International Film Festival, and won the 39th Hong Kong Film Awards, the 35th Popular Film Hundred Flowers Award, the 33rd China Film Golden Rooster Award and many other awards. On March 15, 2021, this film nominated the 93rd Academy Awards on behalf of Hong Kong, China.
Synopsis
A campus accident on the eve of the college entrance examination changed the fate of the two teenagers. Chen Nian (Zhou Dongyu) is introverted and an excellent student in the school. Her only idea is to review hard and go to a good university. The classmate's accidental fall from a building involves a series of unknown stories, and Chen Nian is also involved little by little... In her loneliest moment, a young man named Xiao Bei (Yiyang Qianxi) enters her world. Most people are bright and happy at the age of 18, but they experienced the indifference of the adult world in advance this summer. A secret "battle" is going on, and they will protect the dignity of teenagers together.
