"Hunting in the Sky" is a battle drama produced by the TV Art Center of the Political Work Department of the Air Force of the People's Liberation Army and the Spring and Autumn Times (Horgos) Film Co., Ltd. It is directed by Li Chen and co starred by Li Chen, Fan Bingbing, Wang Qianyuan and Li Jiahang. The film was released in mainland China at 18:00 on September 29, 2017.
The film takes anti-terrorism as the background, and tells the story of a group of air force elites who safeguard national interests, safeguard regional peace, and urgently leave the country for joint anti-terrorism rescue operations. On the afternoon of June 22, 2018, "Hunting in the Sky" won the 2017 "Smokeless Film Award".

Synopsis
A legend of hunting and killing in the air and space battlefield, Decepticon is a mysterious top team of the air force. Every pilot is an ace pilot at the gold helmet level. Wu Di (Li Chen), Yali (Fan Bingbing), Bartu (Guo Mingyu), and Plateau (Li Chenhao) have passed the assessment at all levels and become a member of the Decepticon secret base. But nobody expected that Liu Haochen (Li Jiahang), Wu Di's friend, was involved in a foreign war plot during his mission. More threats followed. The sudden missile crisis and hostage crisis of terrorist forces challenged the actual combat capability of the Chinese Air Force unprecedentedly. Under the urgent situation, the latest Chinese fighter planes and the top pilots, together with the enemies who master the missile code and advanced fighter planes, launched a life and death battle in the sky outside China.
